Zenith Chae
She/her
Zenith Chae moved to Australia, from New Zealand, in 2009 and studied medical science at the University of Sydney. Such is her love of music, that she decided to continue her musical training and professional development in parallel with her tertiary studies. Teaching music while she progressed through her own DipABRSM (Distinction: piano), AMusA (Distinction: cello), LMusA (Distinction: cello), she later pursued her Master of Music Performance in cello at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
She has taught in public and independent schools throughout Sydney, and at the Rising Stars Program of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Zenith has now shifted to mainly practising as a piano repetiteur (most recently has accompanied the Cantabile Festival at the newly renovated Sydney Opera House, then was invited as the tour accompanist for the Sydney Male Choir on their SA/WA tour earlier in September); cello performer for private functions, cultural festivals (most recently the Bangladeshi music festival “Jolsha” at the Roundhouse); stage performances (most recently Paul Vincent tour Sydney performance at State Theatre); cello recording artist in collaboration with artists and bands such as Nadia Tinkers, John Romeo, Antonamasia (Australia); Shotoku Koh (Japan); and for the Department of Education music resources archive.
