📍 Passage Gallery

Bettu Russ: Tearing Field
31 July - 25 September 2026
L1 102/8 Quay St, Haymarket

Betty Russ’s ‘Tearing Field’ is an immersive installation exploring mutation, adaptation and survival. Water, air, plants and sculptural forms circulate through a shifting environment where the natural, technological and constructed begin to dissolve.

📍 Schmick Contemporary

Peace of a Park
Grace Harré, Luca Blasonato and Paige Labuda
10 September - 03 October 2026
L2 706 George St, Haymarket

In 'Peace of a Park', Schmick Contemporary transforms into a small, rundown city park. A park bench. A bird fountain. Rubble and broken-down pavers and concrete, plants and dirt and weeds growing through and all. The gallery recalls the idea of tree roots prevailing through concrete surfaces, moss growing over old fountains, a seed finding its way into the mortar of a brick wall and somehow, growing again. The kind of place that could exist anywhere.

📍 China Heights Gallery

Tactile Illusions
Eli van Engelen, Madi Feist, Yoko Georgiou, Midori Goto, Marina Inoue and Benedict dos Remedios
10 September - 03 October 2026
L3, 16/28 Foster St, Surry Hills
