Experience an intimate traditional Filipino dinner inspired by kapwa (Tagalog for 'shared identity' and 'togetherness’) with artist Marikit Santiago.

Join us at 4A to bask in the surrounds of Marikit’s new exhibition For us sinners, and gather around an expansive banana-leaf-adorned table to employ the Filipino kamayan method of eating and mixing food items with your hands.

4A's Kamayan & Kapwa feast will include a delectable medley of Filipino cuisines: chicken humba, BBQ pork, crunchy chicken, aromatic pinakbet vegetables, and a rice mound.

Consumed together in the spirit of congregation, this specially-curated meal celebrates the co-mingling of language, cultures, and storytelling.

This event coincides with the launch of Marikit’s new book For us sinners, designed by Garry Trinh and available to purchase exclusively at 4A.

Kamayan at Kapwa: Pangkomunal na Salu-salo

Linggo 8 Mayo // 5pm - 7pm
