Join us next Saturday morning for a walking experience with Latai Taumoepeau in Belmore Park, right in the heart of Sydney, on the first day of High Tides: Yuki Kihara and Morgan Hogg.

Lue, laka, lele | Walk, march, run is Latai’s participatory praxis, an exploration of Tongan relational space through the concepts of fonua and faiva | land, space, body and being.

This walking practice awakens the sentient, enabling inquiry into some of our deepest environmental concerns in the climate emergency. Led by the necessity to embody Country; we will slow down, listen, observe, contemplate and activate a space that is unknown and possibly generate a natural spectacle. ✨

This one-hour walk begins at 4A, moves into Belmore Park, and returns to the gallery. Afterwards, we invite you to bring your own lunch and stay for a quiet moment of rest and connection at 4A.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable attire, carry a water bottle and if necessary carry wet weather attire. 
Late participants may not join the walk.
Participants may be invited to participate in a minor gesture.
